Maryann N. Krasko is doctoral candidate in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, working under the mentorship of Dr. Michelle R. Ciucci. She received her B.S. from New York University and her M.S. from Columbia University. Her primary areas of interest are concerned with the mechanisms underlying upper airway disorders in neurodegenerative populations, namely Parkinson disease (PD). She is also interested in the study of the gastrointestinal system and its role in the pathogenesis of PD.
